Is the game on the legal aspects of the U.S.?
I live in Virginia. I know there are casinos in Nevada, New Jersey and Native American reservations. So I guess gambling laws are state and federal laws do not? What interests me most, though not casino gambling or online gambling, but the activities the friends to participate in. For example, it is illegal for me to play cards for money at a friends house? Is it illegal to organize a Fantasy Football league, with a buy-in paid by the winner (s). Is it illegal to participate in a support group of the NCAA with a buy-in? In fact, you use the Internet for the last two, but not transfer money, only to found the League or the pool. I know it does not matter if these activities are legal or not, because they are not enforced, and I do not care about issues morale if I'm breaking the law. What worries me is that it should be "careful" with such activities, such as not declaring the charges or payments on a message board or send email mails about the poker games?
No, not illegal ….. IF …. the house has no money. p. eg. If you have a poker tournament and the house $ 200 take 10%, then it's illegal. If all the money is returned to players, then you're safe. The same goes for fantasy football and swimming pools. Commissioner fees for fantasy football are also acceptable.
